I met the Meltons way back in January and fell completely head over heels for them and all those blue eyes. Shauna had warned me that Dylan was very shy, she expressed that she wasn’t sure how the session would go. I ensured her we would get some beautiful images, and it would be like any other day at the park. Dylan was very cautious around me, more so than I had expected. The thing I tell all parents before a session, is things probably won’t go perfect, life is not a Pinterest board. It is so important to just let your child be who they are. One day you will love those images that so perfectly capture your child at that stage in their life. Chad and Shauna had such an ease about them, they just loved on their babies how they do everyday. No pressure for perfect pictures. We played, twirled, tickled, and had an all around good time. This session is easily one of my favorite family shoots to date. The images melt me, the way Dylan clings on to mom, the way her personality shines through, those curls. Not to mention the captivating big blue eyes on baby brother.
I am proud to say Dylan was holding my hand by the end of the session. This little girl seriously stole a piece of my heart.
